Not quite! Please don't get us wrong. We love children more than anything. But our hotel simply offers an ideal experience to leave the kids with grandma and grandpa and just be by yourself. VACATION FOR BIG KIDS ...

We have decided not to accommodate pets at the B5 Boutique Hotel Lugano.

The B5 Boutique Hotel is a garni hotel with a few surprises.

The B5 breakfast is served in our Salotto, from 7:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.

From 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. is aperitivo time. This is culture and a way of life in Lugano.

In the Salotto, in the garden or at our tiny little Bar Centro, you can enjoy the drinks and snacks we have selected for you, our stuzzichini.

This is the right time to think about where you could go for dinner afterwards. Of course, we know some really great and special places.

Light refreshments and drinks are available throughout the day.

We don't have a fixed menu, because we prepare everything à la minute and with fresh products.

Yes, all our rooms are equipped with a modern system and are also heated in the colder weeks and months. Is that sustainable? We say yes, because we also produce our own sustainable electricity for this on the roof of the B5.

Of course! Super fast and free of charge. Also perfect for remote work in Switzerland's sunniest region.

Our accessible room is called Oasis. It is a true refuge, located on the garden side and in the quietest corner of our hotel.

As a guest at the B5 Boutique Hotel Lugano, public transport (bus and train) is completely free throughout the canton of Ticino with the Ticino Ticket.

All our rooms are non-smoking rooms. There are designated smoking areas for smokers in our outdoor area.

The B5 Boutique Hotel Lugano is just a few steps away from Lugano's main train station.

You can reach the centre of the old town and the lake in just a few minutes on foot or by funicular (3-minute ride). As you can see, the B5 Boutique Hotel Lugano is a true city oasis.

We do not have our own parking spaces, but there are parking facilities and parking garages in the surrounding area, as well as blue zones, for which you can buy multi-day tickets HERE.

• Blue zones: From Monday to Saturday, from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., you can park here free of charge for one hour with a blue parking disc (also known as an EU parking disc), with the arrival time set to the next half hour. On Sundays and public holidays, parking is free of charge between the hours of 7:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m..
• Yellow zones: These are private or reserved for companies and may also only be used by them and their customers or guests.
• White zones: These cost money and are often numbered, and there is a parking machine nearby. Find out more here.

P+Rail is a Swiss Federal Railways (SBB) service that allows commuters to conveniently park their vehicles at train stations and then continue their journey by train. The B5 Boutique Hotel Lugano is in the immediate vicinity of Lugano train station and you can therefore park your vehicle in the designated zones.

Please note that even if you purchase a ticket in advance, you are not entitled to a free parking space (no refunds). We therefore recommend, if possible, that you park your car first and buy a parking ticket immediately afterwards.

The best way to reach the B5 Boutique Hotel Lugano is by train, as our hotel is just a few steps away from Lugano main station. We are, so to speak, the 5th platform = B5.

You leave the station at platform 4 on the right-hand side at the end of the platform (the side with the ramp). Or take the elevator directly at platform 4, then cross the street at the pedestrian crossing and walk straight ahead for 100 meters until you reach the first street on the left, Via Francesco Borromini. If you then look left, you can’t miss the architectural highlight B5, and you’ve arrived at your home.

You are always welcome and can arrive whenever you like. Our housekeeping team will release your room as soon as everything is ready for you. We can guarantee you 3:00 p.m.. But almost always a little earlier. We will send you a message as soon as your room is waiting for you. From 3:00 p.m. onwards is a definite.

On the day of departure we need your room by 11:00 a.m. at the latest. Our housekeeping team will prepare your room for the next guest in the same way as you received it. We just need some time for this.

We accept all common payment methods.
